Literally. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, and the site is static files with no accounts, no database, and no tracking scripts.
The site is static
Every public page is prerendered HTML served from a content delivery network. There are no server functions, no database, and no request handling beyond serving files. The hosting provider keeps standard aggregate access logs (such as request counts and status codes) to operate the service.
Calculator values stay on your device
Values you type into the compare-your-net-worth tool are held in browser memory only. They are never placed in a URL, page title, analytics event, error report, or network request. There is no backend to send them to.
If you explicitly enable "Remember on this device", the entered values are saved in this browser's local storage under keys starting with nwl:, on your device only. "Clear my numbers" removes every one of those keys, and an automated release-blocking test verifies the values never leave the browser.
No analytics at launch
No analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, or behavioral profiling runs on this site. If a privacy-respecting analytics tool is ever added, this page will be updated first, calculator state will remain excluded, and consent requirements will be reviewed for the jurisdictions involved.
About the people profiled
Profile data concerns public figures and comes from public evidence: filings, official documents, licensed market data, and cited reporting. The site publishes no private addresses, account identifiers, or location information, and the corrections process is open to the people profiled and their representatives.
